Hazel L. Williams

Hazel L. Williams, 82, of Danville, peacefully passed away on December 5, 2023.  She was born on June 8, 1941 to the late John R. Gentry and Mary Virginia (Brown) Gentry and grew up on the family farm.  Hazel worked as a secretary for Hendricks Regional Health and Hendricks County Senior Services for many years before retiring in 2012.  She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Hazel enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, cooking & canning different foods as well.  But most of all, she loved to help people.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Gentry and John E. Gentry.  A private graveside service will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery in Cartersburg, Indiana.  She is survived by her daugher, April Williams; a son, Troy Williams; and a brother, Tom (Anita) Gentry.
