Gloria Mayo

Gloria Crystal Mayo, 90, of Plainfield, passed away on September 12, 2021.  She was born on July 24, 1931 in Belle Union, IN to the late Harold and Geraldine McCammack.  Gloria was a waitress for 35 years at the Double Decker.  She was a loving mother and a dedicated homemaker.  Gloria was a member of the Deer Creek Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crocheting and doing puzzles in her free time.  Gloria loved spending time with her family as often as she could.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Mayo; brothers, Glenn and Ronnie McCammack.  Funeral services will be Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 12:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Stilesville Cemetery.  Survivors include her sons, Stephen (Debbie) and Daryl (Lavona) Mayo; daughter, Teresa (Lonnie) Hassler; brother, Marshall McCammack; sister, Margie Zenor; 8 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
