Gladys Leona Griffith

Gladys Leona Griffith, 93, of Plainfield, passed away June 7, 2019.  She was born April 23, 1926 to the late Charles and Leona Mae (Hicks) Walsh in Bristol, TN.  She was a homemaker.  Gladys is survived by a daughter, Victoria (Ken) Jackson; two sons, William O. and Randall W. (Rhonda) Griffith; a brother, Elmer James (Caroline) Walsh; three sisters, Sylvia Hudson, Berta Lyon, and Nina Crane; 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth (Todd) Griffith, Tara (Dan) Bishop, Matthew (Misti) Griffith, and Stacey (Matt) Chappell; and 16 great grandchildren (Bryce Bishop).  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter William Griffith.  Memorial services will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, with calling one hour prior to services.  She will be entombed in the niche at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
