Genevieve "Jenny" Stinson

Genevieve "Jenny" Stinson, 83, of Plainfield, passed away January 19, 2018.  She was born April 3, 1934 to the late Raymond and Georgia (Wallace) Young in Plainfield, IN.  She worked in housekeeping at Duke (PSI) for 12 years retiring in 1994.  She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church.  Jenny is survived by her son, Michael D. Murphy; a brother, David Young; three sisters, Patty Pruitt, Marie Rosier, and Vera Crouse; 2 grandchildren, April (John) Eubank and Megan Murphy; and 2 great grandchildren, Carter and Penelope Eubank.  She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Dennis A. Murphy and Claude Stinson.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 24 at 10:30 am in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
