Gary G. Stoner

Gary G. Stoner, 71, of Plainfield, formerly of Muncie, passed away October 3, 2018. He was born August 26, 1947 in Muncie, IN. He was a quality manager for Indoshell of Story City, IA  retiring in 2015. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plainfield, and the Delaware Masonic Lodge #46, where he served as Past Master in 1982. He loved to travel with his wife and was also an avid golfer. Gary is survived by his wife, Nancy A. (Jennings) Stoner; a son, David G. (James Hall) Stoner; a brother, Chester Stoner; a sister-in-law, Linda (Danny) Houk and their children, Stacey Shannon and Brent Houk;  a cousin, Pamela Kantner; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva (Jackson) Peacock and step-father, Charles Peacock. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Plainfield, 1012 Stafford Road, Plainfield, where friends may call at the church on Monday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Masonic services will be at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
