Gail J. Perkinson

Gail J. Perkinson, 72, or Plainfield, passed away November 20, 2017.  She was born October 17, 1945 to the late Jack and Rosie (Shook) Gardner in Muncie, IN.  She retired as a Quartermaster for the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy after 30 years retiring in 2010.  She was a member of the Center Community Church, Plainfield.  Gail is survived by a son, Don (Robin) Perkinson; a daughter, Helen Perkinson; a brother, Rod Gardner; a sister, Helen Hittson; 4 grandchildren, Jessica Perkinson, Ashley Meek, Dylan (Amber) Uhls, and Lynnsey Uhls; and 3 great grandchildren, Paige and Elias Uhls and Connor.  She was preceded in death by her husband Don Perkinson Sr. in 2012.  Memorial services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Center Community Church, 5938 S. County Road 700 E, Plainfield.  Inurnment will be held at a later date at Center Friends Cemetery.  Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
