Gail L. Baldwin

Gail Louise Baldwin, 72, was born in Indianapolis, IN. She was the daughter of the late Howard "Pete" Baldwin and Arah Doerges Baldwin. She attended Ben Davis High School. Upon graduation, Gail furthered her education to obtain a license as a medical assistant. She worked as a medical assistant for several years before moving to North Carolina to pursue other things. When her mother became ill, Gail moved back to Indiana to assist with her care. Gail drove as a shuttle driver at the former Indianapolis International Airport before settling at a position with Resolute. She retired from Resolute in 2017. Gail loved dogs. Her own faithful companion Dawn crossed the Rainbow Bridge several years ago, but Gail found some companionship in Wendy's dogs. Preceding Gail in death were her parents Howard Baldwin and Arah Baldwin, great-nephew Anthony Jones, and niece Kimberly Hendricks. Survivors include sister Sandra Gish (Jim), brother Dale Baldwin (Beverly), niece Wendy Pickett, nephew David Pickett (Veronica), several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 12:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
