Earl Joseph Brand

Earl Joseph Brand, 79, of Plainfield, passed away February 20, 2023.  He was born July 18, 1943 to the late Eugene and Rose (Fields) Brand in Muncie Indiana.  He was in sales most of his life and later became a tug driver for FedEx for 20 years retiring in 2018.  The family reflects: "That there are so many amazing stories, trips and memories with this man.  A man who taught us how to treat others, work hard for what you have, never give up, and always move forward.  This man was a selfless family man, dedicated husband, successful business entrepreneur, and a friend to many.  Early this morning he passed away with peace in his heart and a love for many.  ~We Love You Dad~"  Earl is survived by two sons, Dale E (Tracy) Brand, and Alex E. (Holly) Brand; a daughter, Theresa A. Kirby; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Bowman, Wade Kirby, Erika and Jordan Brand, and Sara Hardin;  and 4 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Monika Brand.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday from 12 noon until service time at 2:00 pm.
