Dr. Kristoffer S. Schnur, Phd, 40, of Plainfield, passed away October 27, 2018. He was born March 16, 1978 in Evansville, IN. He graduated from Mater Dei High School, Evansville in 1996. He received his Bachelor's degree from Wabash College; his Master's degree from the University of Cincinnati, and then went on to Indiana State University where he received his Doctorate in Psychology. While at Wabash College he was past president of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He was currently a psychologist for the past 6 years at the R.L. Roudebush Medical Center in Indianapolis. Kris is survived by his wife, Tessa Schlickbernd-Schnur; a daughter, Mila M. Schnur; his mother, Jolene and her husband, Mark Groves; his father, Stephen and his wife Trish Schnur; a brother, Aaron J. (Abbey) Schnur; two half-brothers, Brandon (Leslie) Groves and Todd (Abby) Veeck; two half-sisters, Jennifer (Andy) Phillips and Tara (Chris) Armstead; and a grandmother, Doretha Schnur. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Josephine Steinkamp and a grandfather, Charles Schnur. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
