Donald King

Donald King, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away March 21, 2020. He was born August 4, 1934 to the late Harry and Ella (Mann) King in Greencastle, IN. He was a member of the Hazelwood Christian Church. He was a Union Bricklayer for 35 years retiring in 1997. Along with his deep love for his family, he also loved golfing and gardening, with his specialty being growing tomatoes. Don is survived by two daughters, Joy (Jeff) Cooper and Julie (William) Hay; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, June King; two sons, Steven A. and Mark D. King; a brother, Richard; and two sisters, Maxine and Dorothy. Because of the Covid-19 situation, funeral services and calling will be private. Burial will be in Coatesville Cemetery. Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
