Daniel D. Storm

Daniel D. Storm, 69, of Avon, passed away September 3, 2022 just days shy of his 70th birthday.  He was born September 7, 1952 to the late Chester and Ida Marie (Harding) Storm in Danville, IN.   He is remembered as a selfless and generous man who loved taking last minute trips on his motorcycle, anything Harley Davidson and NASCAR, specifically Dale Earnhardt Sr..  He never knew a stranger and could charm the socks off of the harshest critic. Danny spent his career at Contour Hardening, working more than 25 years in the metallurgical industry where he retired in 2018. While he was there he had the opportunity to travel worldwide and to this day has remained friends with people that he met . He was a dedicated antique radio and vintage stereos collector.  He will be missed more than words can express.   Danny is survived by his two daughters, Angela Harris and Tiffany Storm; a son, Scott Storm; three sisters, Donna Smith, Bev Groves, and Patty Pfeifer; and 8 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a sister Joyce Henderson. There will be no calling or services.   Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in his honor be made to the American Cancer Society.
