Clarence Edward Hodge Jr., 61, of Plainfield, Indiana passed away on June 10, 2019, surrounded by his loved ones after his nearly 5 year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born to parents Clarence and Patsy Hodge on October 18, 1957 in Rolla, MO. Edward graduated from Rolla High School and received his Engineering degree from the University Missouri-Rolla. Ed worked as Chief Engineer of Military Inlet and Exhaust Systems at Rolls Royce. He was actively involved in his church where he served as a board of directors member, taught a bible study, and enjoyed singing in the choir. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking and working on his classic car. He is survived by his wife, of 39 years Kathy Hodge; daughters, Jessica Marchand and Stacy (Kevin) Parker; grandchildren Liam and Finley Marchand, Apollo and Atlas Parker; mother, Patsy Hodge; siblings Wesley (Julie) Hodge and Vicki Light. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Westlake Church Of God (6696 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46214) where friends may visit from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
