Cecile M. Thweatt

Cecile M. Thweatt, 93, of Plainfield, passed away on November 4, 2019. She was born on February 10, 1926 in Beech Grove, IN to the late Thomas and Sarah (Abbott) Long. Cecile was a dedicated homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels in her spare time. Cecile was a member of the Plainfield Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Thweatt; son, Russell Thweatt; brothers, Clancy, Noble, Jack and Richard Long and a sister Clarice Pickett. Funeral services will be Monday, November 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until time of service.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include her daughters, Sara (Bob) Smith and Mary Muschara; sons, David and Charles T. (Rhonda) Thweatt; sisters, Alice Dickey and Ruth Conger; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchildren.
