Carolyn Ann Lander

Carolyn Ann Lander, 88, of Avon, passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 27, 2025. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 21, 1936 to the late Raymond Gowin and Ferne (Stevens) Gowin. Carolyn worked as a secretary for many years and was also a volunteer for the Avon Auxiliary Fire Department. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading and camping. Carolyn also loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, George "Bud" Lander Jr. Funeral Services will be private. Burial will follow to Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her son, Jeff ( Candace) Lander; daughters, Debra Campbell and Diane Lander; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made online to the Hendricks County Humane Society Ark.
