Carol Sue Richhart was born June 23,1958. Her parents, Raymond and Doris (Newby) Richhart made a loving home for her and her older sister, Barbara Ann in Plainfield surrounding them with the love of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. As her love grew for family, so did her love for neighbors and classmates. As a youngster, she attended weekly Bible Club next-door at her aunt’s house. After learning about the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, Carol trusted Him as her Savior. Her voice echoed her joy learning to sing different parts. She harmonized in the car with her family, in special groups at church and whenever she was asked to sing for her precious Lord. She attended Avon School system all 12 years, graduating in 1976. After attending three different colleges, she graduated with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music education. She taught elementary music through high school which included choir, band and orchestra. Her gift of music was only out shown by her love for her students. When the door closed to teaching, Carol worked for US Air in ticket reservations, she graciously flew with her mother to visit places and family. The new experience was enriched by the reunions and re-connections for her mother. As an aunt, she loved each niece and nephew as if they were her own daughters and sons. She spoiled them with gifts of love on birthdays and holidays She loved being in each of their lives and having them in hers. She encouraged them in as many ways as she could especially to know Jesus Christ as she did. Yet another career began in 2005 as a craniosacral therapist. It was yet another way to show her love for family and clients. At each appointment clients were aided to feel better and given every opportunity to learn of Carol’s Wonderful Lord, Heaven, and how each of them could get there.
