It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Carl S. Walton. He was raised in Bridgeport, IN and lived most of his life in central Indiana. He was born July 4, 1934 and was always considered a “firecracker”. He was a proud Purdue graduate which led him to a long career as the Safety Manager at CNA Insurance until he retired. Hobbies included riding and trading horses, camping, square dancing, traveling and telling stories/jokes. Carl loved making people laugh. He was having the time of his life these last five months at Park Square Manor in Avon where he was able to see his family nearly every day but also participate in the many fun activities there. While there, he made many new friends who the family will always appreciate. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jackie, his son Tom, and great granddaughter, Charlotte Grace. He is survived by wife Lil Walton, 3 daughters, Debra Addante, Carla (and John) Ahlen, and Lisa Reynolds; 8 grandchildren (and spouses) and 12 great grandchildren; 2 step-daughters, 4 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm on Saturday, July 27, 2024 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Saturday from 11:30 am until service time at 1:30 pm. Entombment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Until we meet again in Heaven, we will miss you.
