Bobby D. (Bob) Mink, 76, of Clayton, passed away June 30, 2017 in Orlando, FL. He was born November 17, 1940 to the late Alva and Flora (Ethel) Mink in Plato County, KY. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked at Yellow Freight Systems for 25 years as a driver and retired in 2002. Some of Bob's lifetime loves were singing, playing the guitar with his nephew David and watching IU Basketball. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed nothing more than fishing at Cataract Lake with his good buddy Tom Moore. He also enjoyed his visits with Fuzz Howard who was a great friend and always there for him. Bob is survived by his wife Becky (Bingham) Mink; his daughter, Christy Anne (Dennis) Hensley; two step-daughters, Robin Shaver and Jenny (Rusty) Hamner; and five grandchildren, Brandon Hensley, Nadia Hensley, Mackenzie Standeford, Tanner Standeford and Brooke Kistler. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm.
