Betty Jo Ramsey, 80, of Zionsville, passed away on October 31, 2018. She was born in Indianapolis on November 1, 1937 to the late William and Josephine Greenwald. Betty held several jobs over the years. She was an executive secretary for Indiana Bell. Betty was the staff accountant for the Safeway Corporation and was an office assistant for the Avon Veterinary Clinic. She was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church. Betty was a proud member of the Democratic National Party. She belong to the Red Hat Society. Betty was the librarian at The Hearth at Tudor Gardens. She was a seamstress and enjoyed making American Girl Doll clothes. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Ramsey. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home at 10:30 am. There will be no public visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her son, Andy (Becky) Ramsey; daughter, Tracey (Paul) McCoy; brothers, Ben (Dorothy) and Tom (Gloria) Greenwald; nephew, Doug Greenwald; niece, Terri Reynolds; grandchildren, Erin McCoy, Kirsten, Brad and Robyn Ramsey. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
