Betty G. Hartsock

Betty G. Hartsock, 81, of Danville, passed away on June 30, 2024 surrounded by loving family members.  She was born on September 17, 1942 in Bainbridge, IN to the late Estes and Hazel Shaw.  Betty was a nurse for Hendricks County Hospital retiring in 2005.  She was a member of the Danville Church of Christ.  Betty enjoyed cooking and sitting outside on her swing.  She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  Betty married the love of her life Richard on June 24, 1960 recently celebrating 64 years of marriage.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dale and Eagle Shaw.  Visitation will be on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be on Monday, July 8, 2024 in the funeral home at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery.  Survivors include her loving husband, Richard Hartsock; sons, Steve (Brenda), David (Sharyl) and Bobby Hartsock; daughter, Jenni (Matt) Miles; 11 grandchildren. Krista Baber, Tony Smith, Stevie Harsock, Brianna Smith, Johnny Hartsock, Brandon Hartsock, Austin Garrett, Nick Hartsock, Emma Miles, Chelsea Hartsock, and Allysa Hartsock; 23 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; dog, Trump.
