Anthony J. Ilich

Anthony J. "Tony" Ilich, 71, of Plainfield, passed away May 24, 2017.  He was born August 17, 1945 to the late Groya and Anna (Sekula) Ilich in Indianapolis, IN.  He was a 1963 graduate of Cathedral High School.  He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He worked for Wabash Ford and later Fontaine Trucking Equipment in sales and service retiring in 2007.  He was a 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus.  Tony is survived by his wife, Anita K. (James) Ilich; a daughter, Shannon M. (Scott) Fields; a sister, Maryann Brinkman; a sister-in-law, Beverly Ilich;  two grandchildren, Conner and Mattison Fields; and a nephew , Gregory (Connie) Ilich.  He was preceded in death by a brother G. Richard Ilich and a nephew Brian Ilich.  Funeral services will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm.  Online condolences may be sent to www.hamptongentry.com
