Loren Gene "Pee Wee" Reese

Loren Gene "Pee Wee" Reese, 75, of Avon, passed away December 16, 2010. He was born July 28, 1935 to the late Loren C. and Louise (Grose) Reese in Terre Haute, IN. He worked 34 years at the Bridgeport Post Office retiring in 1990 as Postmaster. He was a member of the Bridgeport United Methodist Church, Bridgeport Masonic Lodge #162 where he was Past Master in 1992, and the Bridgeport OES #513 where he was past Worthy Patron. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Joan (Preston) Reese; three sons, William G. (Sally), Thomas L. (Sheri), and Michael A. (Becky) Reese; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Gleckler. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Monday December 20, 2010 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, 106 Shaw St., Plainfield, IN where friends may call on Sunday, December 19, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Additional services will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St, West Terre Haute, IN, with calling there on Tuesday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Burial, Vermillion (IL) Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
