Eugene C. Jones

Eugene C. Jones, 81, of Plainfield, passed away December 4, 2010. He was born June 26, 1929 in Willowtown, KY. to the late Milton and Dortha Jones. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1992 after 35 years as a power plant operator. He also farmed in Clay County, IN. since 1992. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plainfield and F&AM #653, Plainfield Lodge. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 8, at 11:00 AM in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Tuesday, December 7, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Clay City, IN. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Joanne Jones; sons, Brad and Michael (Tammera) Jones; brother, Donald Jones; sister, Marjorie Dalton; one grandchild.
