Allie Virginia Allen

Allie Virginia Allen, 83, of Avon, IN. passed away November 8, 2010. She was born April 24, 1927 in Finney, KY. to the late Judge and Lummie Haynes. She was a homemaker and member of the Avon Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jefferson Allen. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 11, at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday, November 10, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include sons, Carl Wayne and Jerry M. Allen; daughter, Shirley Kaye Prather; step-daughters, Wanda Wagner, Juanita Nolan and Ann Barron; brother, Cleo Haynes; sisters, Hannah Taylor and Corine Smith; 19 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren.
