LeRoy E. Cooper

LeRoy E. Cooper, 78, of Hazelwood, passed away November 5, 2010. He was born March 11, 1932 to the late Freeman I. and Mary Mildred (Hubbard) Cooper in Clayton, IN. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War and a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a lifelong Hendricks County Farmer retiring in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Betty J. (Clearwater) Cooper; three sons, Steven E. (Dawne), Mark A. (Leslie) and Wayne G. Cooper;a nephew Scott Harney; step- son, Steven Jay (Neena) Hubbard; step-daughter, Joy Lee Kivett; sister, Shirley Alex; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois J. (Cummings) Cooper. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday November 8, 2010 in the Hazelwood Christian Church, 9947 S. CR 0 in Hazelwood where friends may call on Sunday November 7 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial Center Valley Cemetery, Belleville. Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, IN.
