Christopher W. Cooper

Christopher W. Cooper, 50, of Indianapolis (Hendricks County), passed away October 22, 2010. He was born April 14, 1960 in Indianapolis, IN. He was a 1978 graduate of Avon High School. He worked for Duke Energy as a material specialist for 32 years, and was also the union steward. He was a member of the Plainfield Masonic Lodge #653. He is survived by his wife, Vicki M. (Hill) Cooper; a son, Jeremiah F. Sheffler; grandson, Keegan Sheffler; mother, Beverly A. (Inman) Cooper; sister, Cathy (Gary) Crist; niece, Dawn (Christopher) Jones; nephew, Jeremy Crist; great niece, Chloe Jones; and aunt, Caroline Wiggins. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack C. Cooper. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday October 27, 2010 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday October 26.
