Doris J. Hamilton

Doris J. Hamilton, 74, of Plainfield, passed away October 20, 2010 in her residence. She was born January 28, 1936 in Indianapolis to the late Lee and Hannah Minnet. Doris retired in 2004 after 35 years as an LPN for Drs. Hadley and Haggard. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 23, at 10:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Friday, October 22, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Minet. Survivors include her husband, Earl Hamilton; daughter, Jackie Kidd Altopp; son, Ramie (Annie) Hamilton; grandchildren, David A. Kidd, Amber (Ben) Turpin, Matthew and Ramie (Melissa) Hamilton and Angela Kollasch; great grandchildren, Gavin and Myles Turpin, Raymond Hamilton; nephew, Michael Hamilton; niece, Elizabeth Swiezy; several cousins.
