Doris C. Pippen, 83, of Avon, IN. passed away September 28, 2010. She was born March 21, 1927 in Denison, IL. to the late Velvin and Clara Graham. She was a homemaker and member of the Plainfield Baptist Church as well as P.M. Bridgeport OES # 513. Graveside services will be Friday, October 1, at 11:00 am EDT in Livingston, IL. Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 30, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. She was the widow of Harold E. Pippen. Survivors include her son, James A. (Candy) Pippen; daughter, Karen J. (Jack) Kowalczyk; brothers, Velvin and Henry Graham; 3 grandchildren, Raechel, David and Mark (Jennifer) Kowalczyk; 1 great grandchild, Kai Kowalczyk.
