Althea Justine Von Axelson

Althea (Justine) Von Axelson, 72, of Plainfield, passed away September 11, 2010. She was born January 15, 1938 in Somerset, Ky. to the late Frank G. and Lorene (Claunch) Poynter. She was a 1956 graduate of Plainfield High School. Her memberships include Plainfield Order of Eastern Star #414 and First Baptist Church of Plainfield. She retired after 26 years from Citizens Gas as a credit union assistant. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 16th at 11:00 AM in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Wednesday, September 15th from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Bill Von Axelson; son, Rick Shaw; granddaughter, Jessica Shaw.
