Donald M. Fisher

Donald M. Fisher, 83, of Avon, formerly of Stilesville, passed away August 30, 2010. He was born February 10, 1927 to the late Virgil and Bessie (Terrell) Fisher in Indianapolis, IN. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was a tool and die maker and owner of Plastic Equipment in Clayton for over 20 years retiring in 1982. He was a member of the High School Road Church of Christ and former member of the Stilesville Church of Christ. He is survived by two sons, Teddy J. and Larry J. (Margaret) Fisher; two daughters, Betsie J. (Mike) Routh, and Cheryl J. (Vernon) Sweeney; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha J. (Wolven) Fisher (passed away January 30, 2010); a daughter-in-law, Brenda (Mink) Fisher; and a grandson, Robert Bell Routh. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 4, 2010 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield where friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Burial, Stilesville Cemetery.
