Carol S. Gipson

Carol S. (Mitchell) Gipson, 67, of Plainfield, passed away August 31, 2010. She was born September 18, 1942 to the late Raymond and Mary (Clapp) Mitchell in Indianapolis, IN. She was a manager at Giovannis Pizza in Indianapolis for 14 years until 1975. She is survived by her husband Harlan Gipson; two sons, Tony and Jerry (Doris) Gipson; a daughter, Debbie Marlow; and three Florida daughters, Ahn McQueen, Brenda and Linda Totton; two brothers, Delbert "Bud" and Jeffery Mitchell; two sisters, Nora Anderson and Linda Thickston; and 7 grandchildren, Justis, Nick, Zachary, and Jeremy Gipson, Tabatha and Chance Webb, and Julie Edwards. She was preceded in death by brother, David Mitchell; and two sisters, Diana Plunkett and Mickey Young. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Friday, September 3, 2010 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call Thursday September 2 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
