Harry C. "Pete" Jackson

Harry C. "Pete" Jackson, 70 of Plainfield, passed away August 27, 2010. He was born April 1, 1940 in Salyersville, KY. to the late Alex and Emily Jackson. He was a business entrepreneur and owner of several companies, mostly in the trucking industry. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherri Spencer. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 31, at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Monday, August 30, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Inez Jackson; daughters, Rhonda (Bruce) Linsmeyer and Kim Preis; son, Harry C. "Pete" Jackson II; brother, Larry Jackson; sisters, Katie Jackson, Rose Wireman and Lois Fisher; 6 granchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
