William A. Hayes

William A. Hayes, 89 of Camby, passed away August 12, 2010. He was born December 11, 1920 in Kentucky to the late Robert and Nannie (Bobbitt) Hayes. He was a WW II Army veteran and member of the Mooresville VFW Post # 111. He retired in 1985 from Western Electric after over 40 years as a production supervisor. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Barbara Lucille (Blair) Hayes, and daughters Pamela J. McNutt and Rose Mary Hayes. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 17, at 11:00 am in Fairfield Friends Meeting. Visitation will be Monday, August 16, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will be in Fairfield Friends Cemetery. Survivors include his daughter, Patti (Carson) Dreher; brother, Roy Hayes; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
