John Robert Richardville, Plainfield, passed away July 18th at Hendricks Regional Health after a long battle with cancer. John was born September 1, 1945 in Vincennes, In. to the late Bernadine and Arthur Richardville. He was married to Sheila Tussey Richardville in July 1972. She survives along with their two children, Cory James Richardville, Bainbridge and Kelly Jean (Brent) Sisson, Trafalgar; 4 grandchildren, Peyton and Parker Sisson, Spencer and Olivia Richardville; sisters, Pat Zeabart, Mary Lou Vieck and Janet Richardville; brothers, Ted, Tom, George and Jim Richardville along with many nieces and nephews and dozens of dear friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty and a brother, Bill. For over 20 years he was a superintendent and heavy equipment operator for Clossey Excavating. His memberships include Knights of Columbus, Avon American Legion, Plainfield Eagles Lodge # 3207 and he was a Vietnam War veteran. Services will be Thursday, July 22 at 11:00 am in Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Danville, 1005 W. Main St. with Father Bernie Cox officiating. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday, July 21, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm and from 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Johns name to the church or the American Cancer Society.
