Helen Joan Stapert

Helen Joan Stapert, 79, of Avon, passed away July 7, 2010 in Methodist Hospice Yellow Rose Wing. She was born November 24, 1930 in Martinsville, IN. to the late Donald and Ruth Wiggins. She had worked in the home delivery department for the Plainfield Messenger and was a pharmacist's assistant and cashier for Hook's Drug Store in Avon. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 13 at 10:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Monday, July 12 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Rinze J. Stapert; sons, Larry J. (Marsha) and Marvin L. Stapert; daughter, Linda K. (Jeff) Mitny; grandchildren, Carey and Chris Stapert; great grandchild, Rinze Joe Stapert. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or National Kidney Foundation of Indiana.
