Stanley Leon Sackett

Stanley Leon Sackett, 77, of Plainfield, passed away June 16, 2010. He was born March 5, 1933 in Quincy, IN. to the late Leon C. and Vera Sackett. He was an Air Force veteran. He worked for Peerless Pump in Indianapolis for 10 years where he was president of the International Association of Machinists and Aero Space Workers Local # 2918. Stanley also owned the Waffle House in the Esquire Plaza in Indianapolis for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. (Tandy) Sackett. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 19, at 11:00 AM in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 10:00 AM untill time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Leo L. (Debi) Sackett; a daughter, Toni A. (Grant Walker) Reyes; a sister, Debbie (Larry) Muterspaugh; grandchildren, Mary E. (Ben) Behun, Ruby Reyes, and Autumn Walker; great grandchild, Logan Jensen.
