Ruth Ellen Hughbanks

Ruth Ellen Hughbanks, 84, of Plainfield, passed away May 13, 2010. She was born July 30, 1925 to the late Ralph and Gertrude Burnett in Indianapolis, IN. She worked as a punch press operator at Link-Belt for 20 years. She was a member of the Bridgeport Order of the Eastern Star # 513. Ruth is survived by numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Hughbanks and a son, William Hughbanks. Funeral services will on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 pm until service time at 3:00 pm on Sunday. Entombment will be in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis on Monday, May 17 at 11:30 am. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
