Maud Hurin Haney

Maud Hurin Haney, 97, of Spencer, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away May 9, 2010. She was born July 6, 1912 to the late John Sam and Luella (Grubbs) Upthegrove in South Fork, KY. She was a repair technician for RCA for 30 years retiring in 1974. She was a member of the Chapel Hill UMC. She is survived by two sons, Emory William and Charles Robert Sumner; a daughter, Betty L. Watkins; 18 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Harvey "Bud" Hurin, and Paul E. Haney ; and a son, Benjamin Summers. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Thursday May 13, 2010 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday May 12. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
