Mary R. Ludlow

Mary R. Ludlow, 89, of Plainfield,IN. passed away April 27, 2010. She was born December 1, 1920 in Stilesville, IN. to the late Cleo and Edith Whitaker. She was a homemaker and member of the Stilesville Christian Church. Others memberships include the social helpers with the church, Stilesville Order of Eastern Star and the womens and mixed bowling leagues. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Buis and a brother, Elmer Whitaker. Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Private burial will be Friday, April 30, in Stilesville Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Chester Ludlow; daughter, Jane Ann Sharp-Smith; stepson, Harry Ludlow; stepdaughter, Beth Risk; brothers in-law, Leon Buis and Morris Woods; sisters in-law, Emma Kay Gorham, Ella Rarridon, Virginia Buis, Blanche Stubblefield and Vera Jean Davis; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; special friends, Kenny Ames family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church.
