Donald C. Allen

Donald C. Allen, 87, of Belleville, passed away February 23, 2010. He was born June 17, 1922 to the late Lee and Lucille (Craven) Allen in Center Valley, IN. He worked at the Indiana State Board Of Health in the Dairy Division as an inspector for 34 years retiring in 1987. He is survived by one brother, Leorn Allen of Westfield and two nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hanlen Allen on December 15, 2005. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Thursday February 25, 2010 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield where friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 am until service time at 12 noon. Burial will be in Center Valley Cemetery, Belleville, where Don served as past president. Memorial contributions may be made to Advocate Hospice, 2605 E. Main St., Danville, IN 46122.
