Martha "Marty" Kalb

Martha (Marty) Kalb, 50, of Franklin, IN. formerly of Plainfield, passed away December 23, 2009. She was born November 2, 1959 in Indianapolis to the late Marvin and Mary Jane Kalb. She was a school teacher at Columbus Northside Middle School for 21 years. She also coached JV basketball and volleyball as well as being the assistant varsity softball coach at Columbus North High School. Marty was also a statistician in the WNBA for the Indiana Fever. Survivors include 2 brothers, William (Cathleen) and Kenneth (Kay) Kalb; sister, Christine (Martin) Mockovak; nieces and nephews, Angie, Tom, Beth and Bryan Kalb, Katie Angel and Karen Sefkow. The family appreciates all the loving support from all of her friends and extended family. There will be no calling or services.
