John McGuire Jr.

John McGuire Jr., 78, of Danville, IN formerly of Shoals, IN, passed away October 29, 2009. He was born November 26, 1930 to the late John Sr., and Nellie Olive (Johnson) McGuire in Keensburg, IL. He was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by two sons, Franklin Keith McGuire and John A. McGuire III; four daughters, Patricia A. Collins, Carolyn S. McGuire, Yvonne N. Stetter, and Pamela J. Reed; a sister, Florence Conrad; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Muriel Geraldine Jenkins McGuire, and a son, Stephen Wayne McGuire. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday in the T.L. Pinnick Mortuary in French Lick, IN where friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Burial, Spring Hill Cemetery, Shoals, IN. There will also be calling in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Friday October 30, 2009.
