Ruth E. Hancook

Ruth E. (Tipps) Hancook, 90, of Plainfield, IN. passed away October 24, 2009. She was born December 4, 1918 in Martinsville, IN. to the late Arthur and Bessie Tipps. She worked for Cinergy as a clerk for many years. She was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Hancook Sr., brother, Elliott Tipps and a son, Stephen R. Hancook. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 28, at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of service. Entombment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Robert T. Hancook Jr; sisters, Patsy Harris, Beth Pilcher, Judy Stout and Margaret Anderson; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
