John Bernard Carr

John Bernard Carr, 75, of Plainfield, passed away September 5, 2009. He was born September 26, 1933 to the late George and Bernice (Smith) Carr in Plainfield, IN. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was the manager for the Westlake Beech Club for 20 years retiring in 1975. He also was a self-employed heavy equipment operator for 25 years retiring in 1980. He is survived by four sons, Randy (Carol), Greg, Danny (Theresa) and Carey Carr; a daughter, Donna (LeRoy) LeNarz; a brother, Donnie Carr; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Chris Carr. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday September 9, 2009 in the Plainfield Christian Church, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
