Gaylord Eugene Mantooth

Gaylord Eugene Mantooth, 81, of Clayton, passed away on May 1, 2017. He was born in Indianapolis on December 25, 1935 to the late Albert and Twila (Walton) Mantooth. Gaylord retired in 1992 from Allison Turbine. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Gaylord was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Mantooth and brother in law, David Cooper. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Virginia "Ginny" Mantooth; sons, Gary Mantooth and Greg (Donna) Mantooth; daughters, Rina (Jeff) Sims, Jennie (Chris) Cox and Michele (Ryan) Tracy; brother, Ralph (Linda) Mantooth; sister, Barbara Cooper; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
