Floyd (Gene) Fish, 86, of Plainfield, passed away April 29, 2017. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Gene retired from Eli Lilly in 1993 after 40 years. He also worked part time for Deer Creek Supermarket in the meat department. His hobbies after retirement included selling coins and baseball cards at Gilley's Flea Market. Gene was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church (1001 Concord Rd., Plainfield) where funeral services will be Wednesday, May 3, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Jackie Fish; sons, Doug (Denise), Bruce (Tammy), Kevin (Laurie) and Darren (Mellisa) Fish; daughter, Shari (Jeff) Keegan; sisters, Janet Roark and Carolyn Hawes; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
