E. Gayle Barker

E. Gayle Barker, 90, formerly of Plainfield, passed away on March 12, 2017. She was born in Linton, IN on June 27, 1926 to the late Dale and Mary (Shepherd) Blaker. Gayle was a dedicated homemaker. She was a member of the Rosedale Hills United Methodist Church since 1959. Gayle was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Barker. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 15, at 6:30 pm in the Rosedale Hills United Methodist Church(4450 S. Keystone Ave., Indianapolis, 46227) where friends may call from 3:00 pm until time of service. Graveside service will be Thursday, March 16, at 11:00 am in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her sons, Andy (Linda) and Monty (Kathy) Barker; grandchildren, Randy Barker, Elaine (Matt) Bonadies and Jeremy (Erin) Barker; great grandchildren, Lucy Barker, Eliot Barker and Thomas Bonadies. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
