Richard L. "Rick" Lewis

Richard L. "Rick" Lewis, 61, of Plainfield, passed away February 19, 2017. He was born August 11, 1955 to the late Joseph and May (Shuler) Lewis in Indianapolis, IN. He attended Cascade High School. He was a construction worker for Kempte Construction for 18 years until 2008. He loved to fish and hunt. Rick is survived by three sisters, Debra (Tony) Graham, Linda Cooper, and Sharon (John) Surber; three nephews, Kris and Mike Riley and Josh Cooper; and lifelong friends, Joe Griffith, Ron Stanifer, Randy Collins, and Walter Todd. He will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Lewis. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 25, 2017 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Saturday from 2:00 pm until service time at 4:00 pm.
