Henry "Sonny" Hunter, 71, of Plainfield, passed away on February 7, 2017. He was born on September 7, 1945 in Terre Haute, IN to Charles Hunter and Norma (Trump) Killen. Henry was an United States Air Force Veteran. He received his Criminal Justice Degree from Indiana University. Henry retired from the Reception Diagnostic Center after 44 years in 2015. He was a member of Mooresville VFW Post 1111 and the Eagles Lodge in Mooresville. Henry was a girls softball coach for 35 years in different leagues in Plainfield and Mooresville. He was loved by many people and will be missed dearly. Henry was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hunter; brothers, Joe, Jerry and Terry Hunter. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, February 26, at 1:30 pm in Hendricks County Senior Services(1201 Sycamore Lane, Danville, IN 46122). Survivors include his wife, Kandi (Darnell) Hunter; mother, Norma (Trump) Killen; son, Jeff (Sandy) Hunter; daughter, Sundae (Lincoln) Trice; step daughters, Nicolette Komlance and Kimberly (Carl) Davis; brother, David Hunter; sisters, Darleen Stines and Debbie Grindle; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
