Ocie Weber

Ocie Weber, 92, of Plainfield, passed away February 4, 2017. She was born October 9, 1924 to the late Steve and Margaret (Honeycutt) Ward in East Point, KY. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Plainfield. She was owner and operator of Ocie's Beauty Shop from 1970 to 1985. Ocie is survived by a sister, Pearl M. Robinson; a niece, Lisa (Bob) Price; 14 other nieces and nephews; and three step-daughters, Carol Weber, Jane Halstead and Cathie (Kelly) Runnels. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Jake Weber; 6 brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral services will be at 12:30 pm on Friday, February 10, 2017 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Friday from 11:00 am until service time at 12:30 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
