Richard James Streeval

Richard James Streeval, 54, of Pittsboro, passed away January 17, 2017. He was born September 21, 1962 to the late Carl Lee Sr. and Elizabeth A. Castle Streeval in Beech Grove, IN. He was an US Army veteran. He received his BA from Marian University. He was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church. He worked as national service officer for the Paralyzed Veterans of America from 1994-1999, and later for the Social Security Administration from 1999-2001 in the State of Florida. Richard is survived by two sons, Carl P. and Thomas James (Mckenzie) Streeval; a brother, Bill (Lisa) Streeval; two sisters, Cathy and Carla Streeval; and a grandchild, Cecilia L. Streeval. He also leaves behind his dog Snuggles. He was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Lee. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 22, 2017. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Monday, January 23 in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.
